Indians For Guns

Hello respected members,
I seen the of iof .32 nishank revolver newly introduced in india ,the iof employes says its barel & cyclinder is made of alloy(i think aluminium), & bady is not made up of alloy,
New nishank revolber is loghtweight, soft trigger as compared to old iof revolvers.
So ,i want to 2 know that is it qualoty firearm ,will senior members recomend it for purchasing or this new nishank revlvr is not reliable for e.g. poorly built it can blast when shooting ,please senior members share ur opinion.
The price is not yet inteoduced,bit i think iwould in range of
( 1lakh 5 thosnd-. 1 lakh 18 thosound -my guess)
I seen this revolver on youtube video.
Should i buy it ,would senior & experienced members recomend it ,

Mr.Elangovan.. you can have your modified IOF pistol purchased from Coimbatore..there is a dealer Firearms center in Coimbatore...genuine dealer...he deels with all Indian make and imported firearms..

The correct name is 'Nirbheek' and not 'Nishank'.

I have seen a youtube video where on the Indian ordinance day at kannpur , there was display of weapons, the representative from IOF clearly shows the NISHANK and says it will be launched shortly but it is already 5 months since he has said that. you can see the video here is the link

Ok....watched the video. The no. of different models iof has come up with is really confusing. They have mark III, mark iv, mark iv with titanium cylinder (at 1:00 min in the video), another model at 2:00 mins in the video with slightly long barrel, nishank, nirbheek, anmol. Then there is a pic of side opening revolver model from iof circulating on net from ages.

The government should tie-up with glock, beretta, sig etc. and setup their factories in India and the confused iof should be shut down.

Spoke to Field Gun Factory, They manufacture Nirbheek and Mark 3 , the new model Nishank will be available from march 2019.

It's June now. Any updates regarding Nishank
