Buddy, I am not a GUN GURU but simply an art collector.....but if the condition is mint , Series is B and the make is Webley & Scott (Made in England)simply go ahead and buy it .

"scratchless frame and short grip."

But the grips matter a lot so before going for it, see are u comfortable with the grips or not.

Hi
Webley MK's are always good. Specially if you want a trip down the memory lane. I am a proud owner of one that my dad inherited. The condition is excellent but the original blue finishing has almost turned brown. The rubber grips are in good condition.

2.25 L for a Webley in mint condition is a very good deal, hope you dont

regret your decision at a later date, unless the seller has bumped up the

price   honestly it is unlikely that you will get it at

a lower price than that.

Hi Sanjay,

Thanks for your quick comments.

This is a Mark-IV, B-series

What do you think about B-series???

I was told A-series is more accurate to aim (a little bigger)

'A' series or 'B' series just refers to the series used in the numbering of the revolver with the B series being the more recent one.Whether A series or B series they are both Mark IV and internally the same. The only difference being that there is a safety catch in the B series.Something that has been incorporated into the IOF revolver and not at all required in a revolver. The safety, when it is engaged, just prevents the trigger from being pulled but does not prevent the hammer from going forward. So in case you drop the revolver with safety engaged and with the chamber under the hammer loaded, there is the possibilty of the revolver firing.Keep in mind that there is no transfer bar safety or hammer block safety in either the Webley or the IOF revolver.

HI penpusher,

"Keep in mind that there is no transfer bar safety or hammer block safety in either the Webley or the IOF revolver."

Does the smith & wesson .32 revolver 2" have this kind of safety?
