Wants to Replace my iof mklll .32 revolver with iof pistol
Hi friends
Could any one suggest me how I can sell my .32 iof revolver in ghaziabad (up) ncr. I have completed 5 years of purchase and didn't fire even a single shot. Although with my previous revolver purchased in 2005 I used to have shooting.
I would also like to purchase iof .32 Chrome plated pistol from dealer without selling restrictions.
If any experienced member could suggest price of both selling and new pistol, it would really helpful.
Thanks! !!

Contact any gun dealer..that way it will be easy or ask a friend. I had just purchased a .32 Mk 3 for around ₹82000 from punjab.
Why sell revolver , it's better keep it and the pistol is really bad looking and small

Suggest you to stick with revolver rather than IOF Ashani pistol.

Thanks a ton friends for your suggestions.
I had revolver for past 12 years , that's why looking for change. Agreed that revolver is better for self defense, but still wants to have experience of keeping pistol for some time.
Thank you once again!!

Hi
I think now if (not sure) 5 years locking period on selling has been withdrawn the price would be slightly lower than new one.
Otherwise earlier it was more than original price.
Also if someone could share information about locking period rules for pistol as well as revolver , it would helpful.
Thanks

Re: Wants to Replace my iof mklll .32 revolver with iof pistol
hello friends,
good to know about 2018 model Mark II ashani pistol with outside hammer design. it was the only reason making this pistol unsafe. inside hammer really can be dangerous if keep loaded. But now it is easy to release hammer keeping bullet loaded inside the chamber.
Now i will more likely to have Ashani 2018 model in place of my revolver.
Will try to contact to gun dealer to arrange paperwork for selling my gun and buy a ashani.
if someone please suggest any agent or dealer in ghaziabad ncr it will be great help.
thanks

Thanks winnie for your reply, understand what you mean about the risk involved in releasing hammer while chamber is not empty. But i have seen this is as common practice by pistol owners. If anyone fired two or three rounds it would not be possible every time to remove magazine then remove bullet from chamber.
thanks
