Hello gun lovers... Could anybody please tell me the difference between.45 and .45 ACP. Because.45 ACP(automatic Colt pistol) is a prohibited bore in India and . 45 is a non prohibited bore... Does the ammo really have a difference other than rimmed and caped

The .45 ACP has a shorter, rimless, case loaded to higher pressure.
