I have this Revolver my dad bought for me. i have it from the past 9 years. The markings on it says,

P.S.F
T (star) U
1949
Made in italy.
can someone please tell me, the model of this revolver? and how much does it fetch it. i am from Hyderabad by the way.

I also have the exactly same gun but the year is 1952 and all the other markings are same. Please let me know about the gun, its make or anything else, if u know.

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. My dad also possess a revolver with similar markings except the year is 1950. I am in process to get it transferred in my name. I will try to post an image of that gun so that seniors can put some light on the make and quality etc.

I guess swc stands for semiwadcutter and the revolver is bodeo which was used by Italian army till early 1910.
I hope that learned members will shed some light. As far as price is concerned, I was offered a similar revolver for 100k (negotiable). I hope it is still available with the Gun house at Faridabad.

Interesting revolver you have there! My older eyes are not able to make out the markings from your photos.
It would be great to see images of the revolver on both sides, close-ups of various areas and ... also to highlight the markings, I would recommend dusting some talcum powder on the markings.
Also the PSF could stand for Polvere Senza Fumo which translates in english to smokeless gunpowder, so PSF=Italian smokeless powder (Nitro) proof mark. PSF under a Star inside a circle or under a crown.
Anyway, it would be great to see clear close-up images!

I don't think it's a 1889 Bodeo, because the Bodeo was a much larger caliber. Also, note that the front of the frame is cut square with the top strap and the bottom -- there's no shaping or curving of the corners, just a straight cut.
The ejector is puzzling, as it has a barrel lug and looks like it locks up front like a Smith & Wesson. The OP posted three pictures (with very poor lighting, so it's hard to see details) of one side, rather than letting us see both sides of the revolver. Perhaps it was a secret weapon? So, with a front lock like a Smith & Wesson, there's no crane visible for the cylinder to pivot out of the frame. Nor is there any hint as to how the loading gate, if any, is managed on the other side for which we have no pictures.
SWC 32 could probably be a misnomer for .32 S&W [SWC=Smith Wesson Cartridge)

There were a lot of these kinds of 32 revolvers made in Europe after the war, just like Vespa motorscooters. businesses were doing anything to make some hard currency. Note, as I mentioned, how squared off the frame is, and also the trigger guard, which is a strap of sheet steel. I searched for quite awhile this morning and couldn't find anything that looked like this one. Maybe someone else would have better luck
