An advantage is that it can chamber and fire .32 S&W Short and >32 S&W Long revolver cartridges. This is useful in the Indian context where .327 Federal Magnum ammunition is not likely to be available.

I've shot one of those in 38 special and it is actually not a bad little handgun.
The trigger is smooth and slick and the pistol itself is light to carry and pleasant to shoot.

Another advantage of a hammerless pistol is that it can allow you fire multiple shots from within clothing without snagging on anything:
Using a handgun from within the pocket.
