The title is a bit misleading. Its old wine available in an additional wine shop. Though it'll be interesting to know whether the ones sold through dealers will have a 5 year no sale clause. That might be the only noticeable change, and the higher dealer markup of course.

I do not think it will have a 5 year clause if bought from a dealer because it is similar to a .22 revolver that has been available at IOF as well as dealers. In that case also if you buy from IOF it has a 5 year 'No sale' clause. But if you bought it from a dealer it did not have that clause. But then dealers were overcharging about Rs 10,000 to 15,000 on the sale of the revolver.
I also over paid about Rs 12,000 to avoid the hassle of booking then going to Kolkata to collect the gun, taking NOC, TL and at least one night stay there. I decided it was worth paying the extra amount and just walk into the dealer's showroom and walk out with your gun in 15 min.
