Most of the pistol owners probably know this. But it is a very important 'refresher course' especially if one is teachings his kids to shoot or if a friend wants to try out a few shots. We may take it naturally but the other person has to be explained the basic principal of pistol shooting, which at least I did not tell the other person to be careful about, presuming that he would know.
Due to this reason I feel that you have shared one of the most important aspects of pistol shooting. Thanks.

I want to say this is a self-correcting problem
But you are both wiser than me. Who would want a new shooter to get bit and develop a flinch or get scared of guns the first time they shoot. This is something I actually might have missed before this reminder, even though I would teach a proper grip.
