Must say it looks a lot like the 84 fs cheetah. Like all Beretta's looks solid heavy metal. Just love the look of it.

There is striking resemblance among all Beretta's

The Beretta 81-89 all had similar styling and just about all of them have been referred to as the `Cheetah`.

Beretta certainly has a most interesting history .... almost 500 years of it ! They are the oldest gunmaking company in the world .... by a long way.

Approx 10 to 12 lakhs. Now to anyone who would rush out to buy one consider these aspects..Imports of weapons was banned in 1986 so the weapon would be at-least that old. Various components like barrel, recoil and magazine springs have their life span. There are import restrictions on spare parts of any imported gun so nothing can be replaced. All set aside would you put your life on a weapon produced that long ago.

Till now they had good resale value but a recent notification from customs allows weapons imported under transfer of residence to to sold after ten years or after the licencee has attained the age of sixty...Many imported guns would come up for sale now diminishing the value of all imported guns.

If you ask me even the 88515 rs for a Ashani pistol is not worth it. Considering we have no other option I would not pay anything more than that for a pistol.

A few of my friends have got walter ppks pistols but they were all got in under transfer of residence. 10 lakhs and 15 lakhs is just not worth it.

The weapon cannot be transferred to your name if your cousin applies for a transfer of residence and imports it in his name
