Two new entrants in my armoury. The 2nd one is Manurhin MR73
Dear friends,
It happened all of a sudden. All my three granted licenses would have been cancelled had I not bought any weapon before 12/03/14. I was too busy in India since the last three months and could not really look for one (it was the priority). As luck would have it, I found one of my favourite ones on 01/03, my dream weapon (yes I am too happy about it ) on 02/03/14, bought both of them on 03/03/14 and got registered with the local police. The 3rd license has been nullified. I left for India on 04/03 and I am back in Paris since yesterday. So, time to cajole the new ones now .
So here is the first one; Swiss made Hammerli Xesse, .22 LR semi auto pistol, 6" barrel, 10 shot magazine. It is a very precise weapon although made for leisure shooting. I believe that with an anatomical grip it can be well used in a match.
Now here is the second one. As, I said, it is a 'Dream come true' weapon for me. It is indeed a marvel and I can hardly suppress my joy . Although the photo is deliberately out of focus, you can see the cherry coloured hue of the blueing of the cylinder. Sensuous beauty, I would tend to say .
It is 6 shot revolver in .357 magnum caliber with a 4" barrel. I leave it to your guess. Hvj1 Guruji, TCda and agn bhai are requested not to reveal .
I will post sharp photos of the same with details this weekend.
best regards

yes, the .357 mag is readily available in most of the gun shops in France but you need to present your license to buy ammo. The ammo quota is limited to 1000 per gun per year. The regular shooters prefer to reload. I will also follow the same path but will shoot mostly .38 specials.
Let us see how many of our friends come up with their replies. The full report is scheduled for the week-end.

There you are Monsieur tirpassion - already in France. And here was I trying trying to catch up with you on the morn of 19th to wish you a bon voyage. Anyway hope everything and everyone is quite OK at both the bosom of Mother Earth. Now let me officially congratulate you on your acquisitions and thank you for letting me on the news right after you landed in India.
