Which Gun to buy?
Hello all!
I finally got license for NPB Pistol / Revolver. The problem is that license issuing process is a lengthy one , so I did lose the perspective of which gun to buy. When applying , I had in mind the IOF .32 Revolver. But that time I didnt knew there were many options and I had very little knowledge about guns. Recently I got a chance to try out the IOF .32 revolver, the trigger pull was so hard I had to use both my hands. Earlier I have used H & R 732 S & WL .32 Revolver ( I had my name on my father's license for possession), the trigger pull is pretty smooth and can easily be done by one hand. So I request all the Gun Gods of this forum to kindly advise me which gun to buy . My budget is 3L max.
Regards

Dear Romeo24 in my opinion you can go for IOF 32 Pistol about 88k, or you can easily get a good imported revolver in your budget.

Romeo24,
You could go for IOF 32 which is not a bad gun for the price and availability else the price of every other goes only northwards, I would not recommend you to bur H&R coz in my opinion it's not such a good revolver after all, If you stretch your budget to another 50k you might get webley or smith & wesson for that price which is not a bad deal for buying revolver the only caution I would suggest you to check the alignment of wheel and the barrel and wear on the teeth which pushes the wheel. The trigger pull is hard on some IOF 32 but it really depends on the regular maintenance of the revolver.

Raman

Re: Which Gun to buy?
@deep27: I am yet to see the .32 iof Pistol, would visit a gun dealer and check it out! Thanks!
@Ramandeep: I love smith and wesson, but the quality of s&w guns available with dealers is usually very worn out, and the ones which are well maintained costs a fortune. Do you know any good dealer here in Raipur who has s&w , I just know one shop in sadar , the guy just has air guns . The H & R is of my father's , its pretty well maintained , he has it since 1987 , you are welcome to check it out if you are in Raipur! So im thinking of going with iof pistol/revolver or the new nirbheek revolver! Still to find a conclusive review for that one. Thanks!

Hi romeo...I would suggest try iof revolver mark4..which is yet to come in 3 to4 months. Trigger pull is all abt maintenance. According to me itz not worth paying 3 to 4 lac for a 30 yr old gun. More over u dnt know th history of tht gun..who knows what it has done in last 30 yrs. Many forum members had used iof rev..nd had very high regards for it..rest is in ur hand..wht u feel like..

Dear Dany,
Thanks for making things clearer ! My preference would be a brand new scorpio! I have no idea about the mark4 , is it the same nirbheek one which iof launched recently or is it yet to come? What is the expected price of mark4?
Valentines day was fun! Thanks for asking. Romeo24 was my bot name for counter strike game , so I still used it.

See nirbheek is not mk4...nirbheek is made of alloy body, so itz light weight. Price of it is 122000 approx. Regarding mk 4 u can go through my thread (what to apply for mk3 or mk4) u wil get necessary information on mk4. Itz price is 87012/- to be precise.
