Dear Tango,
In India best handguns are .32 and .22 calibers. Ammunition for .32 & .22 Pistol & revolver are very easily available and comparatively very cheaper than .380 and .357. As I got .380 pistol and I purchased one cartridge for 600 rupees. It totally depends on your pocket how much you want to spend. Once I know your idea than I can tell you that you should go for Indian or imported handgun.
