Sirs,
As per my earlier post informing you about my new 0.32 FGK revolver.
I just saw that from the hammer side the firing pin (or transfer bar, sorry for terminology) is not full circle dot, it is almost half cut from bottom.
Is it normal?
Does not seems broken, since the cut is clear and neat.
Please let me know.
regards....

Yes, it's normal. All firing pins of mark III IOF revolvers have that cut in the bottom side.
One can see this in the pic posted below.

@Vineet,
Thanks for quick response.
However photo posted by you is from Wikipedia, shows full circle pin.
Hope your confirmation is based on real time weapon inspection.
But many thanks.

Re: My new IOF revolver firing pin
perfectionist1,
I own a IOF .32 mark III revolver and I have posted here after checking the firing pin on my revolver.
If you see carefully in the pic, you will notice that there is small gap below the firing pin and the frame of the revolver. This gap wouldn't have been there if the firing pin would have been full circle. I have marked it for you in the pic. Also, in the pic, there is considerable amount of firing pin visible above the shiny impression where the hammer strikes the pin but below the hammer impression there is no firing pin visible. Hope this helps....
