There is only one manufacture of firearms in India so we cannot say its "the best".Best- defined in terms of more than one.As Dr jk said IOF a govt firm; enjoying monoply in market is only your option.

From the production point of view "Reliability" is defined as resistance to failure.I am afraid to say Products from IOF factories are poor in terms of quality. There are issues with their rifles and handguns which is caused by poor quality control( please go through various posts by our members) .I think production manager is not aware about existance ofsix sigma tools.

so its not possible to say that the particular product is reliable. If you need just a gun go for IOF and if you shoot frequently go for imported revolver.

Renjith.

You have a choice between IOF .22 Revolver, .32 ASHANI Pistol and .32 FGK Revolver. For personal protection .32 Bore is advisable when compare to .22LR and due to cartridge jamming issue pistol is preferred over revolver specially when considering Indian make. So as per theory of elimination you have only .32 FGK revolver left. Go for it , atleast it shoot upon pulling the trigger and not that bad in close distance.

Easier said than done. Perhaps you should try doing things rather than just spouting off.

It's not about which one's the best revolver/pistol... Its about which one suits you the best.
