Silencers

Post by nev_theking » Thu Aug 23, 2012 1:51 am

Dont want to be jumping to gun so to speak, since I dont already have license, just wanted to know if it is possible to get a suppressor / silencer, along with the gun or if I need a special license for that:)

Thank you.

First get firearm license. You would need a separate license for silencer. It would fall in Schedule I - category I(d) of Arms Rules 1962. You may have to convince them you do not need it for some sinister purpose but to protect your ears as well of those around you, prevent sound pollution etc. etc.

Why do I need 1?

I just think it would be less noisy when I need to fire the gun in a shoot out situation. You think its a bad idea?

LOL.

True. But then maybe I do not want to scare them away. Maybe I just want them to stay ;)

ROTFL ROTFL this is the first time i have heard someone on the forum wanting a quieter gun whilst in a gunfight.Naga is right.A lion's roar will scare the hell out of everyone around even if he has no legs.SO also a big boom.

The only people who have a need for quiet guns are those who don't want to be noticed using one.Your reasons for being one of them?
