Nice gun Ashar! Colts are reputedly very well built and this one seems to be NIB

I take it this is the same handgun you had mentioned in a previous post...

Congrats Ashar.Very nice indeed.If I may,practice with it as it is quite a bit with that short barrel.Read a lot on the cartridge and home defence.Will be of good use in terms of safety to you and others.

Ashar, very nice looking gun. I'm just posting the pics in the message for everyone to see without going to a diff window.

I didn't know this untill some time back that Colts and other (S&W) revolvers rotate their cylinders in the opposite direction. Clockwise vs anti. I forget which is which though.

A humble suggestion, a Bobbed hammer will make a perfect snag free pocket gun, like this one.

although the adjustable sight AND bobbed hammer are kind of an oxymoron, cancel each other out.

Beautiful revolver gr8 . Have u tried a shot....Ashar ask ur Delhi friend/ dealer if he has some thing else also to offer. Not a 357 but may be a gud immaculate one of its kind pistol . Look forward to hearing from u.

Is .357 MAg ammo readily available in India ? What is the prevailing price ?

Shahid,the normal cci soft nose cost 350 per piece and the hollow points cost 450 per piece.

AC,i dont know about the other calibre, but a dealer in mumbai does seem to have a ruger .357 mag 4" revolver and a dealer in hyd has a S&W .357 Mag 4" revolver in steel.But both of them are asking a very high price so I think i wouldnt suggest any one of those.I will let you know if anything pops up.

Shareif, thank you for posting the pics.Please let me know how you did it because all the files were large ones.

Ashar, simple enough.In the photobucket or whatever hosting site you use, there is a tag for the image.Simply copy and paste it in your post.Just keep the size to 640x480 please.

Ashar, like Vikram said, and you just missed one small detail. When you post the link of the picture in your message, "wrap" it with the following "[img]"%20as%20prefix%20and%20"[/img]" after the image...but without the quotes. Like so...

"[img]"Link_to_photo"[/img]"

Remember, just remove the quotes, I just put them there so they'll show up on the post.

According to the seller, the effective range of this revolver is anywhere between 35-45 meters for intermediate level shooter.I fired a round yesterday for the report of the gun and i shot the 2nd ring at 25 meters.And moreover, it felt like a canon and the report was very load since is it a snubnose.The recoil is slightly on the higher side when compared to a .32 S&W.Its a great handgun to shoot.
