This Gun Fires Triangular Cartridges! Is a 20-Shot Revolver! Can Be Loaded While Firing! Comes With Two Barrel Sizes! Can Be Converted To a Rifle!

THE revolutionary new Dardick open chamber revolver is as versatile as a six-armed monkey. It comes with two different sized barrels, converts from a pistol to a rifle, fires 20 triangular cartridges, ejects fired cases and can be loaded while firing. The double-action, semiautomatic gun uses the special .38 or .22 Dardick cartridge or, with a simple adapter, any standard ammunition. Open chamber ejection makes it possible to build lighter and faster firing weapons that are more reliable at less cost than standard guns.

i would like to know more about the action.

Is action leading to jams etc a reason it never took off or is it the triangular bullets?

Very interesting. :agree:

+1

Rev.GRM says that ''Believe it or not the ammunition was known as `trounds` ! ( A conjunction of `triangular rounds`. )''

The action of the gun did include a sort of revolving part, although it did not work like the cylinder we all know from our typical revolvers. With each pull of the trigger, it rotated 120 degrees, twisting a cartridge out of the clip and into firing position, while dropping the previous spent case out of a door in the side.

Very interesting. But wont the 120 degree spin take more time as compared to current one. 120 degree turn is pretty decent movement.
