Re: A new baby born... Made in India Glock?
G44 will be highly in demand for 2 reasons,
1) Ammunition cost
2) The weapon cost itself,
After G44, G42 will be the next most popular due to its size and concealability,
Then models G32,G23, G25 due to their compact size and finally
G21, G30 for diehard 45 lovers.
So everyone will get chance to party.

If they are selling .357 pistols, sure the ammunition too in reasonable prices.sourabhsangale wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 10:18 amI am also personally intrested in .357 but ammo cost around 1200 per piece makes no sense .
Those who want to use the gun very often on range should as of now go for .22 lr and than when ammo is available easy in india one should think of upgrading to .45 or .357 in coming next 1-2 years.

I am able to reach the cmtpl.com page but the link to Glock on that page doesn't work. Could it be due to too many hits on that page? Or low bandwidth and poor signal strength in my area?

Yes but will take time as of now spoke to them regarding that . If you really want to enjoy the pistol as of now go for .22 Lr than change after 1-2 years when market is flooded with cheap ammo .asifalikhanasif wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 10:33 amIf they are selling .357 pistols, sure the ammunition too in reasonable prices.sourabhsangale wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 10:18 amI am also personally intrested in .357 but ammo cost around 1200 per piece makes no sense .

As of now no point in buying.357 if you want to use it regularly , but just want to keep for self defence and use it once in a while go for .357 without any hesitation.

When we watch the video on cmtpl page, in the end its written there 'now available'. We all know that it's not true. Glock/ Cmtpl should avoid things like these because it puts their credibility at stake.
Someone mentioned regarding loss to current handgun owners. Profit-loss is part life. More than monetary loss what I fear is that now days gun shop owners don't buy Indian made dbbl guns for free because there is no buyer in market. I fear it will be same with iof handguns if glock actually comes.

Yes, I saw the video which says "Now Available" on the Glock 19X pistol video which is actually being delivered to government. So, it is true and it shows increased credibility for Glock/Cmtpl because lot of government depts using it.Vineet wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 11:28 amWhen we watch the video on cmtpl page, in the end its written there 'now available'. Vineet ji,
How much do the short barreled 12 bores made in Bengaluru cost nowadays? I think they can be carried in vehicles for protection against holdups.

For buying a Glock I am ready to break my old revolver and submit it to arms branch as broken and non functional weapon, so a gun lover wont mind sacrificing his old weapon for a latest weapon.

Government departments are not using 'Made in India' Glocks. What they are using are imported ones and those are being used from long long time.lasershark wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 12:03 pmYes, I saw the video which says "Now Available" on the Glock 19X pistol video which is actually being delivered to government. So you are saying Glocks are being made in India. So why there are no pics of Glocks written 'Made in India'.Drameenkitekar wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 2:11 pmVineetji its ready available for defence forces, for commercial market they have notified 1st quarter of 2021.

If Glocks were made in India, definitely Glock would have released the pics or we would have seen them through our defence forces.
There is no mention of Made in India Glock on net except Cmtpl claiming it.
On Glock wikipedia there are all the details where Glock is being made, where Glocks are assembled, where copies of Glock are made.....why there is no mention of made in India Glock ?
