Happy to vote for the 6 gun!!!
Have nothing against pistols but there is just something very mystical about a 6 gun. The thumb cocking the hammer which moves that cylinder to align a fresh round with the barrel ready to shoot. All that happening such that the eye can see. Its something like a naked bike vs a full flared one.
I must admit I am a fan of Samuel Colt and his jury of 6.
Apart from the romance of a wheel gun I have read that an average gun fight lasts only 5 shots. So its pretty sufficient as well.
