As has been pointed out,you are wrong. You can own a .44 Magnum and it would be entered as a NPB revolver.Other NPB calibres in .38/9mm are .38ACP,.38 Super,.38Special/.357 Mag and 9mm Makarov besides 9mm Short/.380

Ravizz last time I checked a larger screen size dosnt increase resolution. But that is neither here nor there.
Variations in shape within a model are fairly common based on caliber.

The 7.62x17 caliber is .32 ACP.

nabamt,

9mm Corto means 9mm Short a.k.a .380 acp cal. ( as in MOA's pic).

7.65 Corto ?? Now that indeed is strange ! Beretta 1934 like you pointed out was chambered for .380 and Beretta 1935 for .32 acp. I am not aware of a Beretta 1934 being chambered for 7.65 corto/short ammo which also ( in your case) fires a regular 7.65mm/.32 acp ???

I am sorry to rain on your parade.

This doesn't look a fake IMO. It may have been polished severely to rid the pits at the grip tail which is susceptible to rust if not cared for and maybe the letterings have been re etched. I would go for 1903 Colt, if in good condition if I were you. The only drawback being a concealed hammer which needs getting little used to. I have shot this baby in 32acp and it grouped exceptionally well at 25 meters in spite of it's tiny sights.

ok.im confused. :( I want to change this gun for sure,is all i can say now.I doubt of foul play with the parts of the pistol in my case.Even serial nos were not found on the barrel and the sliding case.Today a friend of mine purchased a Berretta 1935.It had the same serial no on the main body, slider and barrel therby cofirming its genuinity. And can in any way a pistol modelled to fire .380 acp fire .32 acp?

Yes, one doesn't have to be John M. Browning to do that . Though illegal, an alteration is possible by a gunsmith, however, the accuracy and smooth functioning might be compromised. If you are asking about the ability of a .380 pistol firing a .32 acp bullet as such ( without any modification) , the answer is negative.

that explains it then.my berretta 1934 meant to fire .380 acp is firing .32 which isnt possible without the gun paying a visit to the gunsmiths shop for parts alteration.Ive arrived at a conclusion to this thread. Thanks all for all the answers and suggestions.will come at u all again with an another model.

Also the printing on your pistol says 7.65 Corto ( short) which is very different from the .32 acp that you are shooting with it.
