Thanks Mehul, I agree with you after going through bits and pieces of reviews in Jane's and old test repots/ reviews in gun magazines. Some Amercan reviewers, Jan Libourel for example, always seemed to be a little biased towards the PPK/PPKs. Probably because Interams was trying to pick up sales.....

The Kirrikale I fired had the worst machining I had ever seen.

I personally never bought a Walther PPK for self defence. My first at age 21 was a .32 WW II era Bernardelli ( had a Italian army marking on the backstrap)... a gift from my father. It was an old design but very very reliable. Later sold it and bought a brand new Beretta Model 70. It was never fired by the person who imported it from England. Had the spare mags, box and all accessories. This pistol was just superb.

Have always seen and admired Korth and Manhurin revolvers in books...and taken deep breaths...
