That should not bother unless you fire 30-40 rounds. Then the strain of holding up the revolver and firing it may cause discomfort.

Shall I pass you the hanky

Next time stand with your feet slightly apart, the toe of the foot on the side of the shooting hand pointing in the general direction of the target.Shift some of the weight of your body on this foot.Hold the revolver/pistol next to you with the muzzle pointing to the ground in front of you.Lift it, aim and then fire. You will get more accuracy with a revolver if you manually cock the hammer and then fire.Use only the first digit of your finger to squeeze the trigger. In no case should you pull on the trigger. This is a more natural way to fire a handgun than the double handed hold you see in the movies and which many try to emulate.

Rottlord: I suspect you were hyper-extending your elbow and shooting arm. Keep the elbow of your firing arm a bit loose and lock your wrist by dropping it. That should ease your hyper sensitivity :)

Dear IFG Veterans and Mr. Singh,

I have a small query, which I'm posting in the legal section. Could you please guide me on this?

No need for the hanky, penpusher; as far as I am aware of, a demand and a hanky doesn't go together.

Would love to throw a New Year's Eve party with all you people pouring in, but the geographical distances are barring me from doing so. Feast your eyes instead:

Resize the picture to 640x480 please.

Penpusher,

You overlooked my unwritten wish; it is - "May you be the owner of this gorgeous beauty soon."

Re .38/200: When the Brits adopted the .38 S&W as their service cartridge, they adopted that round with a 200 grain bullet, slow but capable of deep penetration, hence .38/200 in official parlance. And a Happy New Year to One and All! Cheers.

Oi~! You didn't hear me howling about it (.45 ACP) being NPB in Mumbai, now did you?! Getting a PB license is a b**ch and in case anyone is wondering, the process removes any illusions of privilege that one may have been suffering from.... :P

Cheers!
