Why not just get the IOF pistol and have a gunsmith fix the flaws?

After a CZ75, an IOFB Ashani is a very diffuclt creature to swallow, I guess

hi
i thought about the iof 32 but finding a good smity is a problem  and since i have used cz. i would like to use it again even in 380 cal. :D

the iof 32 has one major flaw in my mind and that is the 32 it self. in my neck of the woods i don not have a good smity, who understands firearms.

i am willing to give it a thought if i find someone with improved 32. also good smity.

any advice ? as to where to find them?

thanks
nagarifle

The problem with any .380 is availability of ammo; it's pretty hard finding any, at least here.

A friend of mine had a Llama (sic?) .380 for sale here in Mumbai a few months ago, must've still got it. If you want I can ask him.

I just recalled, Garg armoury had fresh stocks of 7.62x25mm Tokarev ammo... did not ask the price, but it's available for sure... Also the Tok, should be available at a lot more reasonable rates (as compared to European/ American makes). You'll have to look around to find a good one though...

Cheers!

The Tokarev if available could be picked up for a lot lesser, ammo is available in Delhi quite easily.

Also going around are a Beretta Mod 70 for around 6 L,Llama's quite a few of them for any where bet 4 and 6,a Colt for around 3.
8 Lacs for a CZ 83!! One of my maternal uncle's picked up one in pristine condition (circa 2003-4) for 1.5 lacs...

Cheers!

He bought it in Haryana 4 years or so back, his elder brother had picked up a .32 cal Webley revolver at the same time, for a slightly higher price - IIRC till then revolvers were selling for more than pistols... the situation seems to be the other way round now!

He is not interested in selling, just in case anyone was wondering...

HTH
