They still have not been able to get a license to manufacture. Even after they get a license it is not the end of the story. Every manufacturer has to then get permission to manufacture a particular firearm.

Winnie, how do you know they do not have a manufacturing license?
If they do indeed offer the 25, I do hope they add a manual thumb safety to it. With the trigger discipline here, it won't be long before they are inundated with lawsuits

Please ask them whether they have license to manufacture arms on Form VII. If they say yes, please ask a copy and if they say no, then how come pistols are ready without license.sourabhsangale wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 5:29 pmCounter measures have confirmed it for sure . I had asked them that . They said they have been making it for the army and police from last 10 years.so they have them ready in that way this is what they told me .
They have applied the license to sell in civilian market , once they get that maybe they will sell that pistol which they have already made .

Confused! you are telling me a Polymer Pistol Line exists in the country?? Or Assembly from Parts for 10 years? If you have any specific info do share, otherwise we can write this away to excitement.sourabhsangale wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 11:11 amI had asked them that . I don't get their reasoning for picking the guns that they did. Glock sub-compacts have very short grips which makes controlling them kind of an issue, especially with larger calibers. Glock 28 would've made a lot more sense as the sub-compact offering since it's still easier to handle.

Glock 22 confirmed for India!
Glock 22 Gen 4 (.40 S&W NP Bore) confirmed for Indian Civilian Launch. Chennai based CMT (Counter Measures Technology) has done a Joint Venture with Glock. Hopefully, these models will be released by December 2022 and priced around 2.5 lakh rupees. *NOTE*: Only in the State of Maharashtra is .40 and .45 ACP considered Prohibited Bore and banned for civilians.

That's what was supposed to happen but because of Coronavirus many Austrian engineers are not being able to come to India to oversee the process. That's what will cuase delays unfortunately.
