Guess what you wont get a response, cause nobody has the answers.
The Mark III has just been released and until someone gets to use it
or own one your guess would be as good as mine.

The only member here who is actually from IOFB - member ID here "OFB" - for some reason has chosen to be a silent spectator here!
I've already sent him a PM asking him to contribute on these IOFB product related discussions... maybe others would like to prod him a bit more... he's the only one on the forum who actually might have REAL answers as to IOFB's plans...
Cheers!
Abhijeet

Re: IOF .32 Mark III revolver
I say, why doesn't IFG officially invite IOFB to appoint one of their redundant staff to be a member here at IFG?
That unlucky individuals' job can be simply to keep an open ear for customer feedback, wish-lists, cribs and also respond to queries. IFG being the only worthwhile forum for gun users and owners in the country, the IOFB could do itself and its customers a great service if it actually keep it self open to breaking convention.
Seeing the immense waste of time, money, personnel on unproductive exercises in national pride, one would think they could spare one unfortunate soul for the job

Re: IOF .32 Mark III revolver
So the information given by the gun dealer was right after all. But there is no information about the type of modifications done and more importantly when will they start delivering it? I am scheduled to collect the piece on 7/11/07. Will it be mark II or mark III? How many revolvers do they manufacture and how many do they sell each day? I think when their buffer of mark II gets exhausted then only will they start delivering mark III. Any information on this will be most welcome!!

Re: IOF .32 Mark III revolver
Hi,
I spoke to people at FGK, they said only sucessful testing of Mk-III revolvers has been done. They have not yet started its bulk commercial production.
I guess we will have to wait......
Presently, the delivery of MK-II revolver is 1.5 months.

Re: IOF .32 Mark III revolver
Gurinder the next date which they provided me is 7/11/07
So there are chances that we could meet on the day.
As for as the testing condition is concerned i think the are lying as they had to face a lot of trouble in selling the MKI model (still a big stock is left unsold).
Just pray to god that we get MK III
They sell near about 25 to 35 revolvers in one shift and there are two shifts in one day more over 50 to 70 revolvers in a day

Well why not?snIPer";p="27478 wrote:Why stop at IOFB why not have a few from KSRA, NRAI etc etc - that will be good and also helpful for us
IFG being the only proper forum for Indian Gun owners... in India... why not?
Maybe then all the ivory tower wallahs will get a true feel of the murky water... instead of blathering about the beauty on the shiny surface.

One more thing
According to some gunshop owners The cost of bullets in Lucknow is much more convincing than Kanpur.
And it only takes one and a half hours to reach lucknow from Kanpur. So it is better to purchase cartridges from Lucknow than Kanpur as Lucknow is a much more big marcket than kanpur and so u could get a wide variety of cartridges at resonable rates.

Re: IOF .32 Mark III revolver
I had a talk with FGF people, according to them mark III would be available only in the next year. I hope we do manage to get it before that. It would be nice to meet someone from this form, so I am looking forward to it Rudra.
