Re: Can we buy Glock in INDIA
Thanks for sharing this. Is this unofficially from Glock? I am guessing the Indian partner in question is Counter Measure Technologies which is based in Tamil Nadu. They have made one public appearance last year in Delhi during the Police expo in Pragati Maidan. Not surprised in the least bit it is taking so long, though. Typical Indian govt red tape nonsense.russianshooter3 wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 1:34 pmInfo from Austria!

Also, if this is true then I guess Glock will be assembling not manufacturing their products here, which is interesting.

Maybe barrel making in India with zero from blanks ,maybe other parts - made in India ,all pistol NO - only assembling
As you understand, India is not a key market for glock and they will not make exceptions
Exceptions for Glock - only USA market
Is this unofficially from Glock? - Yes ,from Austria, from my old friend....

Glock pistol confirmed for civilian sale!
Glock 42 chambered in .380 ACP (6+1 capacity) has been confirmed for launch next year in India. Much needed penetration upgrade from .32 without the excessive recoil of .40 and .45. The perfect option for conceal carry with 0.83 inch width.

Re: Glock 42 (.380) pistol confirmed for civilian sale!
It's not just 42. News was that they were planning to launch 25, 28 and 42 here. While I agree that it would be a great option, the lack of an external manual safety will make this a dicey thing, especially when since most civilian shooters here are inexperienced and have poor weapon discipline. The options in your previous video, i.e. Taurus TX22 would make the best choice IMHO as it has good mag-capacity (16+1) and also has a manual safety.

The lady saying that the Glock will be available in India soon, is an old video. Other that that Glock features have been explained in the video.
This is not concrete evidence that Glock will be launched in India. Concrete evidence would be if CMT or Glock can show that they have Arms manufacturing license on Form VII as per Arms Rules 2016.

Glock 25 confirmed for India! G19 Alternative.
A good civilian alternative to the Glock 19. It will obviously be more accurate and have less recoil than the Glock 19.
