MM you probably mean Glock-17 or 19. These seem to be the only Glocks models imported for Military and Police use.mismisra";p="27011 wrote:9 mm is a service issue for the unfortunate the lucky oners use a glock 18
The Glock-18 is the full auto avatar of the Glock series. Personally I find a full auto pistol a completely pointless novelty.
The SPG may have taken in a handful of 18's early on as trial batches.

Are Bhai
why are we discussing 9mm and .38 because now a days we can't have these weapons on our liscences.
A couple of weeks ago a gentleman sold his .38 Webley revolver only for five thousand.
And he has applied for a .32 IOF

Re: Durability and Accuracy of IOF Revolver
I have booked my revolver at Small Arms Factory Kanpur
And yes recently they are providing MK2 model
According to some people SAF is considered a better choice than FGk.
Another factory- Machine tool prototype factory, Ambernath could provide a revolver in just a week but they have only MK1s

Re: Durability and Accuracy of IOF Revolver
Well i dont think that a policeman who is in Job would take such a big risk
He is a shooter from MRA
He had this revolver for more than 30 years.
The revolver was very smooth and comfertable to use but it was a damn big weapon
He tried to sell it at higher rates because he was facing difficulties in getting it inspected in the present senario and bullets too were quite expensive. so at last he just got rid of it.
By the way as we all know the availability and cost of ammunition is directly proportionate to the the cost of weapon.
if the bullet is easily available and it is cheap the price of the weapon of that bore would be high and vice-versa (for example The broom handle 30 Mauser which i must say is a deserving piece is not considered a good deal at many places as the bullets come for 300/ cartridge which could easily dent ur pocket )
