hi friends i read about ammo problem i am realy surprise about miss fire and jam in chamber we use here winchester and remington ammo it never happen ,i go every month to shooting range and use my webley and scot.38 sw and glock 17 9mm both pistol and revolver had never that kind problem and feoochi is good to but in 12 g shot gun,also i use in cz858 semiauto7.62x39 army surplus ammo wich came from czech republic army.never had that jam kind problem what is the problem in indian made ammo?if any one can explane pls.

in most part of the world their is quality control etc in place.
in India such things as quality control are a far dream away, thus dud ammo is a plenty around here about.
also there is only one place where they make ammo, thats belongs to the government, where if you get a job its for life, you get paid if you work you get paid if you do not work, etc in a nut shell.

Jgalib,

where are you picking up IOF 7.62x39 IOF ammo? Ditto for 9mm? Havent heard of these, .308 yes...

Fiocchi ammo is ok as plinker. Cant say I have had bad experience with it. The brass is easily reloadable.

BTW the Czech surplus ammo from S&B generally has corrosive primers, especially if its bedran primed.

I was under the impression that the Vz 58/Cz858 in its original form was illegal in Canada. Would love to see pics..
