Which is better handgun or shotgun

Now i decide to get a licence but it is difficult 4 me to decide which is better a handgun or a shotgun.i know that handgun r small & easy to carry but shotgun gives a varities of bullet that what be use less lethal bullets.(from no.1 to no. 9).

You should perhaps start going through the many threads already started about various weapons, and reading up on guns before making that decision. Going down to a nearby range and talking getting some first hand experience might also be a good start.

bro you are asking irrevalent questions . Handgun or Shotgun ? Either of them serve different purpose . So it all depends on indiviual requirement and purpose.

if you are looking for home protection or for your farm house. you can go for a shotgun. if you move around a lot with cash/valuables or have a threat for life while on the move a hand gun would be better..


as others have said you need to know what you are looking for.. also a shotgun cost as little as 5K whle a good handgun can cost as high as 12lacs.. so you decide..
