Want to Buy .32 revolver

Post by ravi.sharma » Tue Jun 30, 2009 8:35 pm

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum, and have been following it right from the day i have applied for my Liecence. Finally i have it.

I need some help here from the experts. I want to buy a .32 revolver. My dad is currently using a IOF .32 but i am not so keen on buying it. Any suggestion, which one shall i buy and are Berretta & S&W revolvers available in India? If so, at what (tentative) Price?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Ravi.

Given the prices/choices available in India .32 IOF pistols/revolvers are not a bad option.

You will get "foreign" made old & overpriced pistols/revolvers since import of firearms has been banned since 1984 for some archaic reason.

Purchasing "foreign" made pistol/revolver is no insurance that it will work flawlessly/it has not already been repaired etc.

Ravi, I recently asked the price for a S&W J-Frame .32 and the 3.5 lakhs was enough to puncture my trip. However, may I ask you to let us know about your experience on obtaining the license? It shall help many license-holder wanabes in this forum.

Hi Rottlord, sorry for the delay in reply, as you are aware, the normal procedure for the liecence is an Headache and its a process, where you will
try, try try & still fail & fail.

For me the thing went on smoothly, just because, i had "the right contact, at right time, at right place".

Cheers

Ravi, someone here is selling a snub-nosed S&W, why don't you ask him?
