i have a Ithaca 1911 A1, does it counts. I would love to own more than one Colt 1911A1 and hunt is on for last decade but did not find one yet.

This is my Gov't issue 45 being demonstrated by my youngest son that recoil is manageable when you learn proper technique.

My 1911 is a Kimber Custom Mk II .45. A real tackdriver and my favorite handgun My oldest son has a Norinco m1911 which is also a very good .45 (after a trigger job-the original pull made you think the safety was on).
