I have a Browning Bucksmark plus and my experience thus far is that quality of ammo matters a lot. Out of say 100 shots I will have 5 0r 10 bullets jam / misfires with certain brand. I cannot blame it all on ammo keeping the pistol well oiled is also another factor.

My standard suggestion is to find a decent S&W revolver in .357/.38spl. Ease of maintenance, should be reliable and ammo should be fairly easy to come by.

Also, where in Michigan are u in ? I live in Holland, SW of Grand Rapids.

Irrespective of the direction of the wind, the smoke from the cigarette will always tend to go to the non-smoker.

K

Thats great with Sharief you are in good company. General speak best/expensive revolvers belong to SandW followed by Rugers and then Taurus. For India TR recommend .357 since its NPB.
The make of gun is dependent on your budget and use.

A friend of mine has bought SW 686 plus 7 shot, 3 inch barrel in .357. These retail for around $800ish.

The best advise is check these guns out fire them on a range prior to any purchase.

Cheers
