Deepak,
It all depends on how you intend using it. It certainly is not as durable as a steel one though a lot lighter to carry. IMHO, It should cost you 30% less at least then a steel one in the same condition. Please remember an aluminum frame can only be anodized. And do not expect a great resale value. Best of luck.

Alloys yes; just plain aluminium sounds scary.

But if you're not going to shoot too much with it then go for it; I'd like a light weight carry pistol myself.

Deepak,
You might save a lot a money if you were to look at a Takarev 33 or a variant in .30 or a Beretta Model 1934 in .380,Llama's in .380 are around too, both these Cals are any day a better option than .32,ammo is restricted to imported, but easily available in the market.
A lot of folks on the forum have not really had the best of exp with the PPK's a lot of it had to do with the feed & ejection, though they still command a very hefty price, guess Bond did some serious selling
Cheers & good luck with your search.

When I had said the same thing about the PPK a long time I was slammed. A friend of mine had the same bad experiences you describe.
