If you go on Glock website and search their distributor in India, it shows address of CMTPL which proves that CMTPL are truly linked with glock. https://eu.glock.com/en/Contact-and-sup ... stributors

Glocks are made at two places only, Austria and USA. The ones delivered by CMTPL had Austria written on them which proves that they were made in Austria. So I believe they were genuine pieces and not clone

There is this company Interarms also planningto sell Glock clone in India, like werywin who have been sellinh Glock 19 in 7.65 mm.

I don’t think so. Indian Private companies like Webley complained against them and since then their sale is stopped. I don’t think Glock will set up their manufacturing plant in India and without doing so they can’t sell here.

Pardon my ignorance, how Kiehberg 1911, SW 686+ (Werywin) etc are being sold in India which are also imported/assembled in India?

Kiehberg has got permission to import and sell for one consignment. Lets see what happens in future.

Werywin claims to have strategic alliance with Smith and Wesson but I don’t think S&W has too much involvement in it.
