Hammer for a S&W J frame 31-1 revolver

Looking for a hammer for a S&W J frame 31-1 revolver. Any leads? Could someone point out dealers in the US where the said part might be available. Wrote to S&W but they would not give any information to people who did not have a valid US address and sent me a list of their warranty centers across the world.........not helpful. FYI........Werywin Defence was not on the list.

if u have the broken or detoriated hammer with you.just try with a lathe machine shop who can copy it in suitable material for you.sourcing original parts is very difficult.there are very good gunsmiths who can make one for you.

@Oliver...........did not understand what you were trying to convey.

@drshamsherrana....I do have the hammer with me....it's not broken but slightly chipped off near the checkered area. Fully functional. Tried local gunsmiths. Someone had a hammer for sale but was priced exorbitantly........40000. Messaged Vineet on his whatsapp number and have sent him a pm out here......waiting for a response.

An able gunsmith can weld the chipped part and hand checker it again to almost new.. Thats what they do here in Mumbai. Or else ask some relative settled in US to order it for you and send it over to you with someone coming to India.
