Any updates regarding delivery of Glock…. What about the waiting period….

Hi HKASHYAP,
I am in the waiting list for Glock 44 .22LR, I had booked it in February, My interest in gun has been acknowledged and I am currently 16th in the waiting list, but am yet to hear when will they commence the sale of the firearm, I got to know from my media sources that there has been some issues regarding the possession of proper certificate by the manufacturer/ reseller CMT and the Ministry of Home Affairs has halted the sale of weapon by the only master dealer of Glock in India (J Biswas- Kolkata), however they are confident to restart but cannot affirm the date of commencement for sale due to legal reasons. I am in constant touch with J Biswas, they are promptly replying to mails but are not certain regarding the waiting period and delivery date. I suggest you mail the Ministry of Home affairs Internal security division 1 regarding the updates. The company Counter Measures Technology(CMT) based from south is not even picking up calls, which is highly unprofessional and unethical because the license holder like me who has already hastily sold their weapon are sitting with a arms license which has no weapon on it, which after certain period of time (4-6 months) is not allowed by the authority and license gets cancelled.

I think CMPTL Glock has been caught redhanded by the govt. on some issues. They created so much hype by their website. Something is wrong on their side. In India hereafter, only a true quality firearm manufacturer will stay , especially in the civilian market.
