Experts view regarding buying .32 pistol.
Hi. I am planning to buy a new pistol .32mm and want to know the best model. My budget is 7-10lakhs. Kindly suggest which model should i buy.

Technically, it is 7.65×17mm. Better known as .32 ACP cartridge.
Instead of spending so much on an old imported pistol, I would suggest buying an IOF pistol and have it worked on by a capable gunsmith. You can search on this forum about members' pistols that have been refined and refinished. Good luck.

go for iof [istol and one private manufacturer from paonta saheb in Himachal is also manufaturing pistols and revolvers but it new model but is priced 1lac 20,000 .They r booking guns old imorted pistols r very expensive and in case of repairs their parts r not easily available.

Agree with what DSingh posted. Check the Sheik Brothers' pistol. Contact them to see if a prototype or a demo pistol is available to try.

As Vikram mentions, the bullet diameter in millimeters is supposed to be 7.65.
The .32 comes from it being 0.32 of an inch. However, the actual diameter is .3125 in (7.9375 mm)
The ACP stands for Automatic Colt Pistol.
