I must say, today I cancelled buying the old Mark 1 2002 model for 1.35 L.....

The key reasons were what you all advised. Thank you for this !

I am not contemplating between the Nirbheek Light or a Pistol - Key reason being that they are easy to carry and conceal.

Any suggestions ?????

Nirbheek though a titanium alloy frame is based on the older design of a mark 3. It still has the forward break in design and a flimsy trigger. Moreover at 140000 rs it's 55000 rs more than the mark 4. I won't really care unless the 200 grams is too much for me. Would suggest between the mark 4 and ashani pistol.

If your question is between Revolver and a Pistol both have their advantages. As explained before the swl is a ISSF certified round therefore may be available at shooting ranges and subsidised. You can shoot as much as you want without having it entered in your license. Acp on the other hand is not available in most ranges therefore you would be limited to the 100 rounds as in your license and at 125 rs a pop against 28 rs for an swl in most ranges.

On the flip side the swl has a muzzle velocity of a modest 700 ft/sec from a 3 barrel and 775 ft/sec from a 5 inch barrel, against a much better 950 ft/sec from a 3.44 inch barrel of a ashani pistol.

This really is your personal choice, when I had the choice opted for the pistol and don't regret it.

To mention here that under one license you can have up-to three weapons. What ever you buy now you can buy the other option later, after applying with the licensing authority of-course.

Any insight on what does that imply I terms of advantages or dis ?

Hallo please advice me if i can buy an iof mk4 revolver in long barrel for target practising
