One of my friends has. 32 Mauser HSC (Made in Germany) and is stamped "Distributed by Interarms, Alexandria, Virginia, USA". The pistol grips have been engraved with US Eagle.
The Experts are requested to comment about this pistol viz. Year of Manufacture, Quality of Weapon, Market Price etc.

It is not possible to give you a year of manufacture, etc without a serial number.
See here for general details
You could also google Mauser Forums and ask there.
Check this thread on http://www.mauserguns.com for a comprehensive booklet that covers the Mauser HSc pistol.

Dear xl_target,

I have gone through the Mauser Forum. The Year of Manufacture is 1968-69. Can someone please let me know its market value in India.

Regards

Kushal

That I can't help you with but there are many people here who can.
Maybe one of them will chime in.

Here s an example of the German proof Marks.

Image
German definitive smokeless powder proof marks (eagle over N figure) issued by the Beschussamt Ulm C.I.P. accredited Proof House (antlers figure) on a Walther PPS pistol.
The Eagle over the N is the Nitro proof. The Antlers represent the Ulm Proof house.
The 68 , I believe is a date code.

The FBM: Germany revised its Proof Laws in 1968 and eliminated the need for state proofing any firearm exported to the United States. Mauser proofed them anyway, marking exports with "FBM" (Freiwilliger Beschuß Mauser) - an Eagle/FB has been used in Germany to distinguish any proofing not required by law.

I believe what you have here is a genuine Mauser made handgun. The double action pull is a little stiff ( to put it mildly) but the gun should be able to digest almost any .32 ACP ammo. I say "should be" because I don't have a clue what it will do with IOF ammo.
