Vikram - Girsan is available in Canada and looks like good value for the money although my local gun shop doesn't have one. Girsan also make clone of the Beretta M92 FS in 9mm.

Really? I thought it resembled a modern 1911 quite well.
Though I couldn't get over the fact that the guy in the video kept putting his finger over the muzzle.
Every time he did that, my gut tightened up.

On the other hand you can buy a Rock Island Armory 1911 for about the same price and those are solid guns. They are made in the Phillipines and are proven.
