Regs for import of .32 Pistol

Post by Banna » Tue May 27, 2014 10:18 am

Hi - I need some advice regarding the import of a .32 pistol. My daughter will shortly have her pistol license, and I'd like to gift her a nice weapon for her personal protection - Warm regards

Import of weapons are allowed only if your a renowned sports shooter or under transfer of residence viz if you have been living abroad and have the weapons there for a minimum 365 days.

The Indian Ordinance factory manufactures both pistols and revolvers in .32 caliber. A revolver would be a better options for ladies. Please check this link.
