Advise needed with Beretta 1944

Post by nomad006 » Mon May 31, 2010 10:36 pm

Dear All

A local seller has this Beretta 1944 for sale. I am not too sure of the authenticity of the weapon. The Grips are not original, the trigger does not appear to be the one used on Beretta's 1934-35 normally, neither the safety catch. I could go on but I need advise from an expert. The model no given on the side is " 42036 or 38". If this is an original how much should I be paying for it.

Thanks

This is a fake....a cheap Dara/Munger/West UP imitation....dont even consider it....in fact report the matter if it's a the dealer to the nearest PS, that he is dealing in illegaly manufactured fire arms.

yup , illegal make. but the finish looks much than an ashani. sigh... as sanjay said @report him or do nothing about it if he has illegal connections you may put yourself at risk... though that may entitle you to get a PB license :)

have fun shooting
