Npb revolver purchase

Dear All,

I have received my arms license for NPB revolver in Mumbai. If anyone has any contacts for dealers, do let me know.

Does .38 special come in NPB revolver category? Is .38 special legal to buy?

Aryan Congratulations.

I think .38 special comes under prohibited category as its a variant in 9mm. Check in yellow pages in the IFG site to get dealer info.

.38 is prohobited revolver not the .380 pistol .38 revolver is different calibre does not come under prohibited bore but technically there is litle difference between 38 and 357 bore revolver .38 special does not come under PB category

Congratulations on your Licence Aryan.

There is a lot of discussion on this forum about .38 special and I am sure some searches will direct you to them. It would be interesting to follow you if you choose to go down this path and acquire yourself a revolver in this calibre. Can I ask you if up till now you have come across any guns or offers?
