Recently my close friend luckily got 2009 model iof pistol , worked perfectly ,we were successfully shooting coke cans at 25 meters with that tiny sights, what more one can expect . The design is simple with less moving parts and if basics are clear its easy to feildstrip and work on. I dont go much into aesthetics but its a functional design.

You must be shooting those new laser guided bullets from KF because mine does just minute of man at 15 feet.

Hey James,

Are you meaning to say that 2009 model is different form earlier ones? Or is it simply on of 2009 manufacture? From the way folks give so much importance to year of manufacture, one would think the Einsteins at IOF come up with a new model every year.... :)

My licenced weapon is s&w snubby as i pesonally like revolvers. Some years back i use to have IOF pistol in my family ,that shoots fine and i have posted photograph also may be 2 or 3 years back in IFG . I will try to record and upload video of iof pistol shooting at 25 meters target when my friend visits our Rifle club next time. I am aware that all IOF pistols are not born equal but can be repaired to do the job.
Cc , Winnie , We should understand and digest the fact that our friends are buying one of the costliest pistol in world market. IOF PISTOL 2000 USD. Courtesy our sarkar. :) :)
James.
