Hi Surgeon,

Congratulations on your first shot, I am yet to fire mine, Just waiting for that amazing feeling that shall pass through, when you fire your 1st bullet.

Just wanted to know a few things,
1) Whats the quota of your ammo.
2) Which ammo did you fire, K.F or any other import brand.

Once again congrats.

Ravi.

Thanks Ravi !! Wish u all the best for the 'Suhaag Raat' with your S&W model 31 ;)

My quota is 25/50 & I fired KF only. However, some of them didn't fire in the first instance. I also faced few other problems about which I am not aware truely whether the KF is responsible or IOF. My gunsmith told me that the unequal pressure in KF amm as well as lack of precision may damage my weapon. He advised to use imported amm (especially in c/o emergency & for regular shooting also)

Dear ashish,

You need to obtain T/L from Thane CP (it would be mentioned in the official call letter from MTPF).
Ambarnath is a rail-way station situated next to Ulhasnagar on CR track, u can hire an auto-rikshaw
from station to MTPF. If u r driving ur own vehicle then u need to go from Thane to Ambarnath via Kalyan-Ulhasnagar .
It would not take more than 2-3 hrs to collect the weapon if u go there early in the morning, however, pl make a
phone-call to MTPF and enquire yourself.
And .38 calibre is a prohibited bore in India..search on IFG abt info on importing fire-arms
