Hi Guys, has anyone used the new Shaktiman sindle barrel shotgun made in Bellary, Karnataka? If so, how does she perform?

hi james ,
I hve seen 2 shaktiman in my friend circle it's better not to discuss 'cause worksmanship is not at all good and metal to wood finish is poor.

I saw a Shaktiman SBS DBBL, finish & quality seemed acceptable but the Gun felt heavy & price quoted was steep.

I have used Shaktiman 12 bore cartridges. Never knew they also made Guns.
I am surprised to see the number of "local" 12 bore Gun manufacturers in India. Read of a "P.Das" in one Post and recently saw a "Bhati". Amongst the Indian guns , the Indian Ordnance ones are probably the best....Like they say "Andoon me Kaana Raja."

Wonder if these sub-standard weapons have any value outside India?
The "Bhati" I saw was rather heavy. Infact the heaviest 12 bore I have ever lifted.
Better for building your biceps, than shooting.

Dear james,
Would you be interested in buying a sparingly used British DBBL hammer shotgun.I am at Pune.

Bikash,
Please DO NOT post same text in each post and clutter the board. You already placed your for-SALE ad. If somebody want to buy it, he/she will contact you himself .
Thanks

My favourite Indian gun name so far is Pfizer. It is surprising, almost a cottage industry.

Hello everyone, iam new to this excellent site. I have a 20nhalf inch SBBL shaktiman gun. Have fired quite a few rounds from it. has not misfired so far. but the part where the barrel assembly joins the rest of the weapon tends to develop some play.
