Indians For Guns

Hi Everybody,
I am Musti. I am Turkish but I live in USA. My family is in gun business since 1966. We produce shotguns and we buy shotguns. Maybe you know right now Turkish shotguns are very popular worldwide .But however the prices and the costs got up. Thus i am looking for sometime to make a production or to buy shotungs from India. I know there are a lot of gun makers like IOF, and many in JAMMU area. But i cannot reach them. I found one agency , he told me to export and import guns are banned. But i see in this forum that it looks it is not.
So I have 2 questions please. 1)If anybody knows that it is banned to export guns from India or to import guns to India ? 2)I want to sell our guns to India anybody know who can import my guns and who can export ? Can someone give me the adresses or get involved as my agency and make comission?
I need someone how knows shotguns . I saw pictures of IOF, Ordinance and Modern O&U . They are very nice.
I need help . I like this forum alot .

Welcome aboard and do post catalog or pictures of your shotguns. Turkish guns are getting very popular and Huglu et al are very affordable and decent guns.Whats the name of your brand and Where in US can we purchase your guns?
I also read lot of good things about Turkish guns on Pakistan's gun forum.

Importing of guns into India by civilians has been banned since 1984. For exporting of guns to India you should contact India Counsel general offices in various cities or the commercial folks within Indian Embassy in DC. They can guide you better export of old/antique guns from India such as bespoken brands is banned. Not sure about the new guns manufactured by IOF or other civilian manufacturers maybe other members can better advise.

May be you have this info already - the IOF website contact ... only shotgun they make are Pump actions for defense / police forces.

Exporting your guns to India is next to impossible unless Turkish government wants to contact Indian govt and secure orders for defense forces or transfer of technology. This could be a reciprocal gesture by India because Turkey gave India one of the very few export orders for ALH Druv Chopper

One other venue to market Turkish and your wares is when India hosts exhibition for defense arms.


Indian defense forces are always looking to purchase Small arms Pistols Turkey makes CZ 75 and other pistols, or Shotgun manufacturers can collaborate with Indian artisans to engrave their guns..maybe I am speaking through my hat on above points. ..Good luck and post often

In fact i am targeting to buy pumpsin cheap prices. Maybe IOF supply this. And when i found this forum and i saw that there are very good prices O&U guns made in india and also SXS guns.

I do not know if i can sell to Indian importers , but i definetely want to buy guns from India. IOF has pumps i will contact with them. Also I am really wondering if i can buy kharuddin O&U and Modern O&U guns.

My production is selling by Tristar Arms company in USA which are pumps. We also have Semi Automatics, single barrels, SXS and OU guns but price is more than Indian guns. I do not know if you want to buy shotguns from me how i can send them . If anybody could import shotguns from me then I would say that.

Also i wonder these companies still making production rigt ?

By the way we produce guns in Huglu, Huglu is a village which good guns are made by. Do you have any Huglu guns in India?

Glad to be of some assistance. I havent seen any person in India posting about Turkish shotguns but few of the members from Canada and US do own sxs.

Just to give you an idea how much premium or ridiculously priced shotguns are in India, a Baikal O/U which retails for $500 in US can go for $5000ish in India. This is because of import restrictions in India.
Dont know any thing about cost of guns for import.

Again do post link of your guns or if you could write some more about Tukeys shotgun and rifle industry. I know CZ USA and Weatherby source their guns from Turkey.

But we make semi autos, OU SXS and others. In fact I am both looking to sell India and buy from India. I know there are restrictions but somebody still importing guns. I need to find an importer. Also I am looking for cheaper pump actions and i believe i can find it from India.
I am going to write about all Turkish production. In my next post. IOF has good shotguns but i do not know how they prices their shotguns.
