Stock seems to have a lot of battle scars but nothing that cant be fixed.

Fine looking gun...hope it has a 2 3/4" chamber...dont see it marked on the barrel flats though...

Sniper,

That is a very classy looking gun and seems to be in good condition despite the age.Are you planning to refinish it,especially the stock, at any point of time? Good shooting.

The proof marks on the barrels are Liege proof house, Belgium... Considering that Geco was a German brand I would have thought that they would have sourced guns from German makers... Good buy, should serve you well, for many years to come :)

Mundaire, not necessarily. Geco was a retailer, not manufacturer, of guns; and would have sourced wherever they could be obtained more cheaply. There were many Belgian shotguns sold in Germany, carrying the name of German retailers. Usually plain Jane box lock doubles. Functional, but nothing to be proud of. Cheers.
