Is it harmful for a gun to use slug cartridges like "Shaktiman" through a choke-barrel ? :?

yes please dont try it in imported shotguns it leaves a bulge in indian the barrel can burst or crack posing great danger to the shooter.

Hi b-baracho,

You seem pretty enthusiastic about disseminating info, but there's no need to jar everybody with that huge bold read type... don't worry...you'll get noticed even with normal type. Most of us have decent eyesight... thats why we shoot guns :)

regards,
cc

we've had a discussion on this before-measure the barrel dia and slug dia - its the least you can do.

Holy Cow!
What a damage it must have been. I am trying to visalize how the person holding the weapon and shooting must have felt... It's scary!
I hope there was no odily harm (since the shots were probably being dispersed away from the person holding the rifle.

Was it a quick fix method of opening the wire mesh? :)
What was the gun in question, and the ammo?

Badshah,
Seeing ther condition of the guns in the pics, even bird shot could have caused damage to them.

if your gun is in good condition, then Rifled or Foster Slugs are the way to go,they can be
and are meant to be fired in smooth bore guns including guns with a full choke.
