I have a .410 Webley & Scott bolt action shotgun. Is there a possibility to get ammunition here in India. Or at least empty shells?

I didnt know the .410 was allowed to civilians because the cops use a smoothbore version...
The .410 and .303 are both legal for civilian use where i am,and i make .410 2-1/2” shells from .303 which last for an eternity or forever- whichever is longer
I load everything from No. 7 to slug to triball on them.
Good luck in your quest.

Thank you and sorry for the late reply. I have a license Webly & scot .410 which means it is legal. 303 is available, but I'm not sure how to make a 410 from a 303. Can you elaborate a little more details please. Thank you in advance.

You'll be in trouble trying to get .303 empty shells.they are still P bore And they will most likely be Berdan primed (double flash hole) so convert them to boxer, the existing Boxer large rifle primers will be smaller than the Berdan diameter. So more fiddle faddle to use the old Berdan primer as a shim… over here .303 is NOT a P bore, so commercial boxer primed ammo/cases are available. Have a look on youtube.
